When the glass is shown at her feet, she is wearing socks
Chronology
After witnessing a strange, traumatic incident involving a patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is being threatened by some extraordinary entity. In the days leading up to the September 30, 2022 premiere, the film’s cast appeared at various baseball games, sitting behind home plate completely still and smiling, staring at the camera, motionless, even as fans in the audience were understandably concerned, wearing Smile T-shirts. Another soon appeared in the background with the crowd during the Today show. Around the 31-minute mark, Rose smashes a glass as her alarm goes off. A few seconds later, when she checks the door, she is wearing lace-up shoes.

Based on what happens later at the party, there are several continuity issues that may not be «errors» but may be intentional to show «gaps» in Rose’s consciousness/mental health. It’s very well directed and the atmosphere is really eerie
This movie scared me and kept me on the edge from start to finish. It’s been a while since I’ve seen such a good horror movie. The story is a bit cliché at times, but for the most part it’s well written and well done. The acting is also great, which isn’t always common in horror movies. The first girl who dies in the movie probably has the most unpleasant smile I’ve seen in my entire life.
That really gave me the chills
Especially when the therapist starts seeing her in the dark as a hallucination. Then there were the smiles that weren’t too scary, like Carl’s patient. The pacing of the movie was perfect. It got scarier and scarier as the story progressed. The ending really burned itself into my brain and I honestly thought I was going to have nightmares that night, which doesn’t happen very often for me.
This was Parker Finn’s first feature film
The day after I saw this movie, a car passed me and the older man driving looked at me and smiled… All I could think about was this movie. I really hope he makes more movies like this. A great start to his writing/directing career. Good job!
