Chronology
It follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a television documentary journalist whose work is built on exposing the transgressions of long-respected institutions; I never saw that even Cate Blanchett could save it. I had to give up in the middle of episode 3. This is coming from someone who read the book in anticipation of this series. I have to say that I found the book itself very average. I can’t believe how many things have gone wrong. I mean, what about the sound quality and that horribly useless narration? And that annoying transition! Everything seems so out of place in this mess of a play. The ratings must be fake, there is no way this is a 7 star series. The dialogues of the young actors are just creepy. The whole show is very boring. From the beginning we already know what happened contrary to the book, if I remember correctly, so with the mystery gone, we’re left with nothing. Too bad I was actually looking forward to this. One star for the cat.
